INMITTEN

Album release campaign for Inmitten by multi-instrumentalist, composer and performer of contemporary music, KAVALL.

His fascination with spatial dynamics inspired a new form of immersive concert performance. Spatial Guitar reimagines the electric guitar as a multidimensional instrument, with independent voices that encircle and engage the audience—marking a first in its kind.

art direction, cover design for album + singles, vinyl + CD sleeve design, press shots

CONCEPTS

spacially choreographed tone sequences, melodic minimalism, sound textures

COVER ARTWORK

The essence of this album—its spatially choreographed tones, melodic minimalism, and rich sound textures—was thoughtfully created by the analogue visual artist Elvira Akžigitova. Her grainy, analogue photography explores space in the same way Kavall’s music does.

VINYL + CD SLEEVE

Negative space and clean design on the vinyl and CD sleeves maintain the album’s theme of spatial exploration throughout the campaign.

The track list on the back cover not only mirrors the flow of sound but also serves as an abstract depiction of one of the six sound pillars that envelop audiences during KAVALL’s immersive live performances.

PRESS PHOTOS

For the press photos, we explored space through moving light, shadows, and prisms, creating depth and dynamic energy. This approach subtly nods to the transition of sound between the six illuminated pillars of the Spatial Guitar experience.
